Hazel is eager and passionate to work with people from diverse backgrounds and believes each individual requires a tailored treatment plan to achieve optimal outcomes

Hazel is a registered psychologist with postgraduate training in Clinical Neuropsychology which she completed through her Masters degree at The University of Melbourne. She has experience working with people across the life-span, who present with a range of presentations and concerns including cognitive changes (i.e. memory, learning, attention and decision making), neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, acquired and traumatic brain injuries, behavioural challenges and mental health disorders.

Hazel’s approach entails integrating her clinical experience with comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, traditional theories in psychology and innovative approaches integrating technologies such as Neurofeedback and TMS programs. These are delivered as intensive therapy programs, thorough the monitoring of patient progress. These methods are incorporated with counselling techniques and talk-therapy.

Hazel is enthusiastic and passionate to work with people from diverse backgrounds and believes each individual requires a tailored treatment plan to achieve optimal outcomes. Through her role at neuroCare, Hazel strives to create meaningful change in the lives of people struggling with mental health by utilising evidence-based techniques and strategies with psychotherapy to empower individuals with the skills they need to overcome their difficulties.
